Meisen Kimono, popular
in the early C20th, were inspired by Art Deco designs popular at
the time. Characterized by a striking and blurred graphic effect
created from combining dominant bright colours with large scale all
over patterning, they have a soft, slightly crisp handle and are
light to medium in weight. As wearable art, these pieces are fun
and can be worn today by women of all ages ...

Jenni has
created unique, hand made cloth-dolls using Ziguzagu Japanese
vintage textiles and other decorative materials sourced from
Afghanistan, Indonesia, Japan and France.
I am a
collector. These treasured dolls have enabled me to put
to good use many of the precious bits & pieces which
clutter the old brewery where I live in the river port town of
Goolwa at the mouth of the Murray River in South
Australia
With each doll,
the fabrics have suggested both the garments and the
personality, and while they all have their own unique look, it is
important to me they have the oneness of our
universal face

dyed, woven, stitched or appliquéd by
hand under the designing eye of Sally Campbell, making them
unique, covetable and highly collectable. Sally is also showing
an
exquisite collection of vintage quilts. Many of these pieces
will
highlight the brilliant fabric colours for which India is
renowned.
